Rihanna has definitely been working very hard recently. From releasing a hot album to selling out her Anti tour, now with this sneak peek of her third collection with Stance socks, the singer is yet again keeping us on our toes.
Mixing a sassy baby doll attitude with
streetwise edge, the 19-style collection evokes the cheeky tomboy élan
we’ve come to associate with the 2014 CFDA Fashion Icon
of the Year winner. In this video clip, get a glimpse of slinky
thigh-highs, gauze ankle socks embroidered with the number eight, and
athleisure-inspired ribbed footless styles. As Rihanna herself says,
“It’s really me in a collection of socks.” Speaking directly to where
the “Kiss It Better” singer is creatively and sartorially, the fanciful
and personal collection marks another advancement in her growing Fenty fashion empire.
The world will have to wait until Monday
for the full reveal (as usual), but in the meantime, enjoy this first
look at the latest Fenty for Stance by Rihanna collection.
According to WWD, the singer has also confirmed a deal with LVMH for a complete makeup brand called Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, to launch in the fall of 2017.
