Nigeria at 55.....this got me thinking, so far what have she achieved in the past 54. Cos I know that at the age of 35, my father was already well established and was ready to care for 5 children including my mother which makes up 6. But my father was an individual but Nigeria is a nation with over 2 million in population, so things tends to be different but not too much.
Now let's take a look at what we have achieve so far over the years of Nigeria being an independent country......I won't sit here and start listing the things we have achieve so far because frankly, I can't begin to count what we have achieved so far as a nation since we became independent but the one thing I know for sure is this, WE ARE NOT WHERE WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE AT 55, WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE BETTER THAN WE ARE NOW.
I just hope and pray that after this year's "Independent Day" , things will start improving before the next one comes along. I believe in Nigeria, I believe we can get there with the help of good leaders and governments, Nigeria can be the best in Africa and one of the 'better' in the world.
