Tayo Faniran has been named as a new presenter on Africa Magic’s “Star Gist”.
He joins Zimbabwean star and former Big Brother Africahousemate, Vimbai Mutinhiri as a co-host on the showbiz programme.
Faniran gained fame when he featured on Big Brother Africa: Hotshots in 2014. He emerged as the first runner up on the ninth season of the reality series. The Nigerian celebrity who is also a model is an ambassador for several brands includingPayporte and INEC. Earlier this year, he released his first music single titled ‘Catepillar’ featuring Ebisole. Shortly after this, he made his acting debut in a short film titled "The Anniversary".
Star Gist is an entertainment magazine show, which provides a daily dose of celebrity news and gossip. It airs on Africa Magic Showcase on DStv channel 151, Monday to Fridays at 6PM.
